Stock Chair for Lerival . Originally designed for Stock Chair for Lerival . Originally designed for the Materials Library at Central Saint Martins. A chair that could be produced in low quantities, was extremely durable, and made by local producers . The name comes from the use of stock rectangular box-section steel (with aluminium for outdoor versions). The design continues a theme explored across other projects for CSM responding to the architecture of the 2012 building

STANDING HANGER . 20 years old this year . Reimagi STANDING HANGER . 20 years old this year . Reimagined in wood . A clothes valet which begun as an investigation into preparing, storing and presenting clothes. Designed to be anthropomorphic but un-gendered in form. Progressive (hopefully) but with familiar presence . Sadly no photos of the jigsaw-puzzle of parts produced from the @royalcollegeofart's cutting edge (2005) 3D printer to make the blank, but some images of the fibreglass mould and a fresh part, complete with flashing

10 years ago my designs for The Conran Shop first 10 years ago my designs for The Conran Shop first landed on their shop floors. To my knowledge it was their first collaboration with an external designer marking a shift from being store-only, and towards the design brand they are now. With emphasis on the new Cross Leg Gloss dining chairs, I'll be speaking about my designs and how they came about in conversation at The Conran Shop on Thursday 6th February.
